1. Kioxia has started sample shipments of its 8th-generation 3D NAND Flash memory with a 2Tbit QLC capacity, the largest in the industry. 2. The new memory features enhanced bit density and a fast 3.6Gbit/s interface, thanks to advanced scaling technology and CBA (CMOS directly Bonded to Array) technology. 3. The 2Tbit QLC product offers a bit density that is about 2.3 times higher and a write power efficiency that is about 70% better than the company's previous largest capacity model, with the ability to provide up to 4TB of storage in a single package.
