<p>➀ Hazel Pumphrey, a UKESF Scholar and student at the University of Nottingham, has been recognized for her achievements in photonics and embedded software.</p><p>➁ During her placement year at CSA Catapult, she worked on a low-frequency modulate-able LASER driver circuit and characterized VCSELs.</p><p>➂ She also programmed automation for experimental trials involving APDs and SPADs, and contributed to community outreach activities in STEM education.</p>
