Zotac has introduced a new distribution method for Nvidia's latest GeForce RTX 50-series (Blackwell) GPUs, aiming to ensure that all customers have a fair chance to purchase one. The company is implementing a priority access system, allowing its gaming Discord server members to directly buy the GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5080 GPUs.

This initiative is in response to the challenges faced by gamers and enthusiasts in obtaining the new GPUs, which have been in high demand. Zotac's approach includes a strict zero-tolerance policy against re-selling and scalping, with all serial numbers recorded to track and verify purchases. This ensures that only end-users can access the limited supply of GPUs.

While this system is beneficial for customers, it has also attracted new users to the Zotac Discord server, some of whom are willing to spend over $1,000 on a new GPU. To address this, the server moderators have created a private channel with a separate raffle for members, offering higher chances of winning.

This move by Zotac demonstrates a commitment to its customer base, ensuring that fans can acquire the RTX 50-series GPUs early. It is hoped that Nvidia will improve its supply of Blackwell GPUs to provide gamers with a better opportunity to upgrade.
