➀ Bird flu (the H5N1 influenza strain) has spread to dozens of humans among poultry and dairy workers. ➁ Data from the World Health Organisation shows that between January 1, 2024, and November 1, 2024, there were 57 confirmed human cases of the disease worldwide. ➂ The majority of these cases were in the United States and Cambodia, with three deaths reported.
