<p>➀ Researchers from Xi’an Jiaotong University and Technical University of Munich have developed a high-frequency artificial nerve using homogeneously integrated organic electrochemical transistors.</p><p>➁ This nerve-inspired device improves ion and electron transport, mimicking human nerve behavior for quick signal responses and long-term charge retention.</p><p>➂ The artificial nerve, when tested in mice with impaired neural functions, showed biocompatibility and successfully simulated conditioned nerve reflexes, suggesting potential applications in prosthetics, brain-computer interfaces, and more.</p>
