1. Texas Instruments has introduced six multi-amp dc-dc converters using integrated moulded magnetics, reducing their size significantly. 2. The new 'MagPack' branded devices feature a stacked control IC and inductor coil, with a proprietary magnetic material over-moulded to serve as the package. 3. Three of the six devices are claimed to be the industry's smallest 6A power modules, with nearly 1A per 1mm².
