1. Vishay has introduced a series of low-leakage tantalum capacitors designed for electronic detonation systems. 2. The capacitors, named TX3, feature a maximum dc leakage of 0.005CV at 25°C and are tested for surge current and electrical characteristics. 3. They are suitable for use in remote detonation systems for mining and demolition, with operating temperatures ranging from -55 to +125°C.
