1. Arduino is switching from ARM's Mbed IoT platform to the open-source ZephyrOS RTOS. 2. ARM is retiring Mbed, which will no longer be maintained after July 2026. 3. Arduino plans to release the first beta of this transition by the end of 2024, with a rollout for various boards starting in 2025.
