1. KDDI and NICT have started a joint research project on Large Language Models (LLMs). 2. The research will leverage NICT's vast web page data and pre-trained LLM datasets, along with KDDI's technology to enhance Japanese-specific LLM capabilities. 3. The goal is to improve the reliability of LLMs in specialized dialogue/chat systems and to enhance communication quality by enabling LLMs to quickly identify problematic equipment or areas.
