1. Jung Hye-dong, former head of the Artificial Intelligence Research Center at KETI, has been appointed as the AI PM by the Ministry of Science and ICT. He will also oversee the Data PM role. 2. The PM system, jointly operated by the Ministry and the IITP, involves civilian experts who oversee research and development in various fields such as AI, quantum, and security. 3. Jung PM, who holds a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Kyung Hee University, has a long career at KETI and will make his public debut at the ICT R&D Technology Roadmap 2030 Public Hearing on July 31.
