➀ Stockholm has launched the world's first electric hydrofoil ferry, the Candela P-12 model 'Nova'. It completes a 15 km route in under 30 minutes, reducing travel time by half compared to conventional boats. ➁ The 'Nova' runs on 100% renewable electricity, with minimal noise and high efficiency. It requires no costly dock infrastructure, charging at a regular car fast charger. ➂ The ferry will operate until the waters freeze in autumn 2024, resuming service in spring and continuing through August 2025.
