Corsair has announced and launched two new keyboards, the Corsair K70 CORE TKL and K70 CORE TKL WIRELESS, as part of its versatile and accessible CORE series. These new additions promise a smoother and more premium typing experience.
The K70 CORE TKL series is powered by the CORSAIR MLX Red V2 switches, known for their durability with up to 80 million clicks. These switches are the second generation of Corsair's MLX Red switches, featuring sturdier stems for reduced wiggle, pre-lubed for smooth performance, and a special Fresnel lens for brighter and more vibrant RGB lighting.
One of the significant upgrades is the inclusion of two layers of premium sound-dampening foam, which has been a notable addition to several new keyboard releases in recent times. This feature, combined with the upgraded switches, makes the Corsair K70 CORE TKL and K70 CORE TKL WIRELESS worthy upgrades.
Both keyboards have a minimalist, clean, and stylish design, including a wrist rest. Corsair has also included a rotary knob and a new 'Game Mode' button to reduce latency. The wireless variant, the K70 CORE TKL WIRELESS, offers up to 890 hours of performance over low-latency SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS.
Additionally, the new FlashTap feature is included, which prioritizes the first or last key pressed, giving competitive gamers an edge. This feature, which is becoming increasingly popular in gaming keyboards, is a welcome addition to the K70 CORE TKL series.
