Intel's next-gen Arrow Lake-S processors are on the horizon, with the recent cancellation of the Arrow Lake Refresh and the introduction of the Nova Lake successor. Now, rumors suggest that Razer Lake-S will be the next in line after Nova Lake-S, possibly in 2026 or later.

The Arrow Lake-S desktop processors, which are part of the Core Ultra 200 series, are expected to be on the market longer than initially planned. The transition from Alder Lake-S to Raptor Lake-S and now to Arrow Lake-S has been smooth, but the potential change to a new socket with Razer Lake-S could raise concerns among consumers.

Intel has also been moving away from the traditional 'Core i' branding, introducing the new Core Ultra branding with the laptop-focused Core Ultra 100 series 'Meteor Lake' CPUs. The upcoming Core Ultra 200V series 'Lunar Lake' laptop CPUs have already been launched, and the desktop processors are expected to follow shortly.
