Remedy Entertainment, known for its engaging single-player action games, has unveiled its first multiplayer game, FBC: Firebreak, a co-op shooter set in the Control universe.
The game, which was showcased in a gameplay trailer, is a three-player first-person shooter that promises 'hectic' action. It is described as a spin-off from the original Control game, but not in a negative sense, as it is a fully formed game in its own right.
FBC: Firebreak is set to be released on PC and Xbox Series X|S in 2025 and will be available on Game Pass from day one.
Remedy's Communications Director, Thomas Puha, explained that the development team has always wanted to create a multiplayer game and that FBC: Firebreak is designed to be an accessible and enjoyable experience, not a chore or a 'second job'.
