➀ Researchers from Zhejiang University have developed a new soft jumping robot that uses magnetic actuation and bistable mechanisms to achieve advanced jumping capabilities; ➁ The robot demonstrates higher and faster jumps compared to previous models, with a takeoff speed over 2 meters per second and response time under 15 milliseconds; ➂ The robot can jump more than 108 times its body height and is capable of navigating complex terrains.
